Great Orientation Weeks

For the last week and a half we have met with almost every class to share with them the new features and procedures in the media center. The best new feature is our ACTIVBoard! We talked about how to care for the board and for our books. Students also learned how to use place markers to ensure that our bookshelves stay in order. These new features were great, but I believe everyone liked learning how to check in their own books the best. They learned how to scan their books, listen for "Woo-Hoo", and place their books on the correct shelf of the cart based on their call numbers. What a great start to a great year!
